St. Bernard Puppy eye surgery

This beautiful, sweet family puppy (11 months old) suddenly had both sets of his eyelids turn inwards Friday night.   He cannot fully open either eye and is in constant discomfort as we have to "unroll" the lashes from his eyes multiple times a day and put in an antibiotic gel.  The vet says he must have eye surgery on both eyes as soon as possible to save his eyesight.  As of 10.27 we have enough to get him in for his pre-surgery appointment which is perfect because he developed huge ulcers over his pupils overnight!  Thank you for helping!!  The photo shows hi in his halter- it is not a muzzle.  Much gentler on his neck while helping for him not to pull as strongly- just like a horse.   UPDATE:  His eye surgery was paid for with a short term personal loan and we need a total of $1800 to pay it back.  His corneal ulcer is healing with the help of a corneal serum they made out of his own blood! They had to do it in two surgeries as he was going to be under for too long the first one and he had to be put under again to remove the sutures.  Any help for this sweet boy would be most appreciated!
