Hurricane Ian Relief - Paradise Parasail & Family

Friends, so many of you have been following the devastation of Hurricane Ian and the impact the eye of the storm had on Fort Myers Beach. You've been following my posts about my brother and his family and the unimaginable loss they suffered - everything is gone. My brother, Chase, has called Fort Myers home for over 15 years. It is the place he and his family have built their community and business. Ian took their home, everything in it, and their parasailing business. That business is their livelihood, and until the beach can be cleaned and begin rebuilding, they won't be able to operate for the foreseeable future. God willing, insurance will cover their temporary accommodations and help them replace the things they lost. We anticipate that insurance companies will be overwhelmed with the aftermath of Ian. The unknown of how long this process will take is intimidating.

Many of you have been very supportive and generous in asking if there is a place to donate to them during this difficult time, so I started this GoFundMe. The road to rebuilding is long and will definitely have hurdles, but if you know my brother, you know he's already started. These funds raised are intended to help them get emergency necessities (toiletries, clothes, food) not only for them, but for their Paradise Parasail employees who also lost their homes and jobs. Your support is far reaching and will help to carry many employees and their families who depend on their income from Paradise Parasail.

To our beloved Fort Myers Beach, my heart is aching and breaking with everyone who lives here, loves it here, and calls this place home or vacations here like we do. Thank you so much for coming alongside us to support my brother, and all of Fort Myers, in the aftermath of Ian. We appreciate you all!
