Staff Sergeant (SSG) Danielle Beasley was injured in a house fire at her home in Richmond, VA on the evening of May 16, 2019. Her family, husband Shawn and twin 6 year old daughters Laila and Luka, were able to escape from the home with no injuries due to her quick action in getting everyone out. SSG Beasley was unfortunately injured with some 2nd degree burns to her feet as well as a significant amount of smoke inhalation. She is still receiving treatment at VCU medical center with no scheduled release date at this point but is expected to make a full recovery.
While we thank God for the blessing of safety for everyone, all of the family's belongings were destroyed in the fire. We were able to recover some irreplaceable keepsakes however, all of the clothes, toys, furniture and other items they owned were lost. To complicate matters more, the family was set to close on a new home on June 20, 2019. We would like to make sure this can still happen for them.
100% of the proceeds from this campaign will go towards supporting the family in replacing the above listed items in order to reduce their financial burden and to ensure they can proceed with the purchase of their new home. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated during this time of need.
