<div>Due to financial instability our rescue closed intake a year ago. We have been reaching out to other rescues but not one is available to step up at this time.

<div>As you can see, scrappy has a fairly bad injury to his tail and is in need of urgent vet care. Our intentions are to take financial responsibility for him since his needs are immediate.

<div>We are preparing for the worst case scenario which would be amputation of his tail. On our original post in the comment section we will post close up pictures of the wound. It is quite graphic so we have chosen not to post those photos here.
