We got evicted on May 2nd, 2025 they only gave us 24 hours to get our stuff moved out of the house, so with that being said a lot of stuff was lost and left behind. Sadly including my partners ID, social, and kiddos birth certificate was all lost during this move, with that being said it makes it nearly impossible for us to get any type of housing assistance! We are stuck in an extended stay hotel which is quite literally breaking us financially it’s $450 a week. During this time period our other car blew a motor and it was estimated at around 11kish to fix so we ended up letting it go back to the dealership. We bought another car and it’s been nothing but issues since we got the car… we paid 3k on it and we have put over 2k in parts and labor into this car already. And the car is still dying so we have to find out a way to get the car in working order or money to rent a car to go get her and bring her home. Our kiddo went to visitation with her dad which he is 1,300 miles there and 1,300 back and we need gas to go get her so she can start school (she is home schooled) but the computer get her location and she has to be in this state to start school. So honestly I’m not even sure the amount we need tbh… I know it will be about 1k to get up there and back and a room for a night to rest because the long drive. We also have to worry about a way to pay the hotel room so we have a place to come back home to. We have also been trying to raise money on our Gofundme for an apartment. I am working but I can’t work at the moment because the car is messed up.. and I have no way to work. The main goal is getting the car running. Then we can work for the rest… but it’s $200 just for a diagnosis and we aren’t sure what’s wrong with it. So I’m gonna put the goal kind of high and I’ll update it when we get the car estimate to fix it. So our goal is to #1 get the car running #2 get kiddo home #3 get an appartment.
