Hi my name is Reece Fearnside . I am 19 and from Straddie, QLD and I've been selected to play in the Australian Junior Outback Gridiron team at the Under 19 World Cup Championships in June/July 2016.
To achieve this, I need to raise funds to pay for airfares, uniforms and travel costs to Harbin China. Everything must be paid for within the next few months to ensure my place in the team.
This is the first time an Australian Junior Team has played gridiron at the World Championships and our team won the honour after defeating New Zealand at the Oceania Super Bowl in July 2015.
Playing for Australia is a huge honour and will give me a chance to take my passion for the game of American Football to a whole new level. I want to be able to wear my green and gold 68 jersey again in a world class competition against other countries.
