The amazing firefighters took a stand to save the Reserve Visitor Center, but lush vegetation, trees and habitats along with the assets associated with property security, maintenance and the youth environmental education programs were lost. The youth education programs funded by the SRP Nature Education Foundation are suspended until the Reserve is reopened.
