Send AH at UTSA students to AHMI 2011
Donation protected
Donate $5, $10, $20 or more to help send 34 passionate and dedicated students to the American Humanics Management Institute!
American Humanics is a national nonprofit management certification and student leadership program. Our program at UTSA is one of three in Texas and was recognized with the Outstanding Certification Benchmark Award during the 2010 American Humanics Management Institute (AHMI). This award was not only an honor for our program and student association, it was a catalyst for growth. Last year 16 students attended AHMI. This year we are hoping to send 34!
Participation in this national conference is required for certification, but also offers professional development through workshops and case studies. It also provides excellent networking opportunities with national nonprofit leaders and provides students the opportunity to be further inspired by amazing people in the nonprofit world, such as 2010 AHMI speaker Raul Izaguirre, former President/CEO of National Council of La Raza.
Currently, it costs just over $1,000 per student. This includes airfare, hotel, transportation, and AHMI registration fees. We are asking that you please contribute anything you can to help us reach our overall goal of $35,000. So far, using other fundraising methods, we have obtained $5,000.
You can be confident that your dollars will help to ensure that we students enter the nonprofit sector with the tools necessary to make a difference!
American Humanics...Nationally certified to change the world!
Thank you so much! Our gratitude is endless.
