Hi my name is Anne-Maree

I have suffered for years now with depression, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia and asthma.

Plus I have now been diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea. My sleep is disrupted on average 21 times every hour. So I never have a restful night and never wake up refreshed. This effects my health immensely.  I have put on weight as I find it hard to exercise as I have no energy.

I am also only able to work three days per week due to my ill health. Which makes money extremely tight when you live on your own and rent. I spend on average $50 per week on groceries.

I manage to walk my dog Charlie most days. He is my savior! He makes me laugh everyday.

I urgently need a CPAP machine to treat my Sleep Apnea. The sooner the better. I have tried other avenues to get the funds to purchase a CPAP machine. This included going through Centrelink to try and get funds released from my Superannuation but it was rejected due to the sleep specialist refusing to sign the Centrelink form as OSA is apparently not life threatening. Stopping breathing 21 times per hour is supposedly not life threatening!

I would go through the public health system but that takes so long and you have to hire a machine for a minimum of 6 months at $70+ per month that I just don't have.

It took me a long time to decide to use Go Fund Me as I'm a proud person who has always done everything on my own. I feel extremely vulnerable and ashamed that my life has become like this.

So please if you could spare a few dollars it would be greatly appreciated.
