SQN Brave Art - Art Auction

At SQN, one of our core values is supporting the community in every way possible. In the summer, we raised funds towards BC Wildfire while learning about forests through our Inquiry Lab Program. We are continuing our philanthropic spirit in Fall through another program of ours - Brave Art.

Brave Art, where children learn that art is as much about bravery as it is about beauty: creativity, self-expression, and community make art both brave and beautiful. In celebration of our students’ growth as brave artists, we organized a silent auction and raised funds to provide bursaries for vulnerable children and families to attend the Art Umbrella program of their choice.

The Arts Umbrella Bursary Fund helps ensure that young people are able to discover how to express themselves through the arts, while nurturing lifelong skills like critical thinking and developing their self-confidence.
