The last 2 months have been extremely hard on Patrick and I concerning his health. Along with that we have lost alot of income with accumulating medical bills since he has been unable to work.

For those that know Patrick, know he is an old soul who takes pride in his work and gives every client that ever sat in his chair his all. He wants people to get the best haircut and best experience in the shop as possible! He would drop over behind the chair before he would ever ask for help or take a hand out. Thats pretty much what happened on his last day there before he had to stop working for a while. 

He refused to mention he had a problem and pushed thru it to make sure the client was taken care of. Once he was done with the cut he stumbled to the back of the shop to try and get his bearings straight. The client asked if he was okay and Patrick even being in very rough shape insisted he was fine. 

He is the type that would put others first before himself and go without as he has done in the past. Several friends and clients have came forth offering to help but as always Patrick would thank them and push himself to do what was needed to be done. Since his sudden hearing loss his physical and mental well being has taken a toll with having to except his restrictions and limitations. Although the financial stress was getting to be a bit much for him, so without doctors clearance he decided to try and come back part time. Unfortunately after a short two weeks he had another vertigo episode at the shop.

His doctor had to stress that the situation at hand is detrimental to his health and if he continues to push himself that the little hearing improvement that he has gained back will be lost. The daily battles with his vision, balance, headaches and cognitive issues will become permanent. The doctor has stated this recovery process will take many weeks to months to heal from. With that, Patrick was crushed as the reality of not being able to do what he loves and do for himself had hit hard. 

So with this Patrick’s pride wont allow him to reach out, so I am reaching out for us! We both hate to ask for help! It’s is with much sadness and regret that we have to make this post. Yet would appreciate in this time of need to send all prayers &amp; good vibes for the healing process, in hopes to come back even stronger from this entire situation. 

We have been SO thankful for the outreach, support, and continued understanding from everyone. I have been trying to make sure the shop runs as smooth as possible &amp; take care of every client while Patrick is gone. So thank you for your understanding and patience!

Again its hard for us to ask for help. Yet if you are able it would mean the world to us! 

We cant thank you all enough for the check ins that have been very heartfelt and we appreciate them!!
