Tim's Lung Transplant

We got "the call" at approximately 11:40 p.m. , December 24, 2015.  "I have something here for you," said the voice on the other end of the phone.  The voice was that of the physician who 24 hours later performed a successful lung transplant that saved the life of a much loved husband, father, brother, friend, TEACHER.  
       The uninsured financial costs associated with organ transplantation are staggering and well documented.
