Sprocket’s Emergency Surgery Fundraiser
Donation protected
Many of you know our Sprocket, the bouncy, cuddly, 10-year-old terrier mix, who has come so far from the scared rescue dog he was 8 years ago. He is an otherwise healthy, beloved, emotional support dog, but has developed some bladder stones due to a urinary tract infection and requires immediate surgery. The medical bills are mounting quickly so we turn, reluctantly, to our community for help.
After a day of treatment at Avenues Pet Hospital, he is already feeling much better but will require around the clock care for 48 hours, surgery, medications, and follow up care. The vets see no signs of kidney damage or other issues and expect him to be fully recovered and back to his fun-loving, adorable ways in a few weeks.
We are deeply grateful for any help you can provide. This dog holds a place on our hearts that is impossible to describe, and so do all of you. If we somehow raise more than his immediate medical bills require, any additional funds will be donated to The Milo Foundation, the no-kill shelter where he first met his mama all those years ago.
