Springdale family home destroyed in tornado.

My name is Dustin Curtis and I am an educator in the Springdale School District. This GoFundMe has been set up for the Avila family by their teachers. This family has been a part of our school community for over 20 years. Their home was in the direct path of the March 30th, 2022 EF-3 tornado. They are lucky to be alive, and we are fortunate enough to help out a bit.

The Avila family is loved and highly respected by staff and families alike. The Avilas have two children in our Springdale schools and two kids attending college. I can not think of a family more well-deserving of our help in this time.

The amount of damage at this point is exceeding insurance coverage. The house will likely have to built again from concrete slab up. All money will go directly to the Avila family. Further coordinations of assistance are being arranged by employees of Helen Tyson Middle, Sanora Middle,Bayyari Elementary, and George Jr High.
