Spring Meadow Primary School Laptop Appeal
Donation protected
So far this week we have been able to loan out over 40 devices to our families to give children access to remote learning while our school building is closed to most pupils. However, we now only have a very small number of devices left and I am still receiving requests for support, so I anticipate that all devices will have been allocated by the end of the weekend. This means that some of our children will not have the means to access online learning. Even in families who have a device, there are often 2 or 3 children having to share that laptop or tablet across the day. As a result, many of our children will fall further behind in their learning simply because their families cannot afford to buy a new laptop.
So we are asking our school community to help us to raise the funds to buy more devices to help more of our children access the education that they are entitled to during this lockdown. Any donation, however small will help us to help our children.
On behalf of the children at Spring Meadow Primary School, I thank you for any help that you are able to give at this difficult time.
