Spring for the fest - EMLFest!

Elephant Mountain Literary Festival, July 12- 15 in gorgeous Nelson, British Columbia, is a literary celebration for readers and writers and a meeting of creative minds. Literary Couples is this year’s theme: Esi Edugyan and Steven Price are joined by Susan Musgrave and Stephen Reid for fabulous readings and conversation. With our 100-mile Opening Gala that honours local writers and pairs them with local beers, a special evening of performance by our all-star lineup, and panel discussions on the creative process make Elephant Mountain Literary Festival the place to be this July.

Help us grow: spring for the Fest! This campaign makes it possible to bring the best literary minds to Nelson for the enjoyment of writers and readers alike. With your help we aim to raise $5,000 by June 15, 2018. And of course, there are perks.

·       $20 gives you a special toast (and a drink!) when you attend our 100-mile Opening Gala (tickets at emlfestival.com).

·       $50 gives you a free ticket to the 100-mile Opening Gala event, where we’ll raise a glass to you and put your name on our donor board at the event.

·       $100 gives you a free ticket to our Saturday night gala-of-the-stars, and a chance to chat with the Saturday Gala authors in a special, pre-event Green Room social

·       $500 gives you a Gold Pass to the festival, lunch out with the author of your choice (and we’ll pay for lunch, too!) plus a copy of the author’s latest book

·       $1,000 gives you a Gold Pass to the festival, copies of the latest books of all the visiting authors and a chance to chat with the Saturday gala authors in a special presenters' social.

·       $5,000 makes you a Friend of the Festival for life! You have a Gold Pass for every festival in perpetuity, and a whole lot of other awesome perks for being such a VIP.
