#SpreadLoveNotCovid - Giving Back through Art

KC Jean is a creative art company founded by a mother-daughter duo. Cj and I began drawing and painting during
"homeschooling" and turning our artwork into stickers. These stickers are being sold to raise money for non-profit organizations
during COVID-19.

The idea was born to give back to the less fortunate by selling these works as both magnets and stickers, with a portion of the
proceeds going to nonprofit organizations that I work very closely with. This Go Fund Me page is being created to reach the
masses which includes many of our large corporate businesses in Maine and across the United States. 

I see so many people finding ways to give back during COVID-19 and Cj and I wanted to do our part.  On a daily basis, I see
the vulnerable, the less fortunate, the preyed upon, and the homeless. These human beings need more support than ever at
this time, so hopefully, our initiative can go a long way towards helping them. Doing our part to help is also our way of coping.
Cj and I have created something together and I will forever be grateful for these moments with her!  

Cj and I are raising money to give back to several non-profit organizations in Maine such as the Cumberland County
Children's Advocacy Center (CCCAC), Trauma Intervention Program (TIP), Best Buddies Maine & International,
and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

We hope that our art unites and inspires all people.  We hope our tiny venture shows everyone that we can all do our part in various ways through creativity.  #PayItForward #GivingBackThroughArt

Cj's 3rd grade (9 years old) art project. It is a derivative of a coloring book picture. She recently pulled it from her art book
and "signed it." She then colored it in and decided #CrushCovid-19.

After just a week I realized that it is quite the feat to sell individual stickers to friends and community members, although we did
sell 317 stickers/magnets thus far! We can’t thank our supporters enough! 

Cj & I will ensure your purchased stickers get to local supermarkets, hospitals, and any other business of your
choice! Our thought is that these stickers will hopefully be purchased in bulk and all of these businesses will then give them
to their customers for free!  You can follow us on Facebook to watch when and where these stickers are delivered!
