In 2020 in Canada alone, the mortality rate for addiction had already doubled by June. People struggling with addiction and mental health need accessible, affordable support now more than ever. That is why I am launching Spotlight Recovery: A YouTube channel entirely dedicated to recovery coaching for people dealing with these illnesses. I have been in recovery since February 19th, 2012 and have been working with one of the largest addiction treatment providers in Canada as a counsellor for the majority of that time. I also have an extensive educational background in social work, and have experience in YouTube channel development, audio/video editing, and social media marketing. I am the right person for the job.
