I am Bear Loebe Owner and Chief Instructor of Sport Karate America.
Last week we were preparing for the 10-year anniversary reunion of the dojo. Days later the dojo is under water due to Hurricane Harvey. The pictures from emergency workers show at least 2 feet of water in the facility. We do not know the amount of damage yet because the water levels are still too high to get close enough to see.
The donations will be used to rebuild the interior, replace mats and equipment, and assist the families of students that have lost uniforms and gear due to the flooding.
Thank you for all of your help as we get through this. The Sport Karate America Families are strong and will make it through this tough time. We appreciate any and all help.
