The team at Sportitude want to support flood-ravaged regions by doing what we do best – running. GIVIT is a charity organisation forming a bridge between disaster-affected communities and the donations, goods and services generously provided by wider Australia.  GIVIT are working in collaboration with the Queensland and New South Wales Government to ensure the funds you raise are put to practical use to benefit the lives of people in flood-affected regions. Their goal is to fulfil genuine and urgent needs, when and where they’re required so no donation goes to waste – everything from groceries, blankets, clothing, furniture and appliances to assist vulnerable individuals, families and communities during times of crisis. To help the economy of flood-affected regions to get back on its feet, these essentials are purchased from local businesses if possible.
