Sport Social www.lvsportsocial.com is an after school program designed to teach life/social skills & self confidence to individuals with autism and other special needs. There are a variety of lessons including music, art, & bike riding.
After our tour Eden couldn't stop talking about how he'd made friends playing basketball and "when can I go back to play piano?". The lessons are way out of our budget, $258/month for 1 hour per week, but I saw how excited he was to be learning and making friends & how good this program could be for him. He needs this! I paid the reservation fee to get us on the waiting list and am hoping that by the time they call I'll have enough saved to get him a spot.
So here i am doing something I never thought I'd do - which is ask for donations to get Eden in this program. 100% of everything donated will go straight to Sport Social (except whatever gofundme takes out) and if I end up raising more than one month's worth it will go towards another month. I really want him to be able to experience this ❤❤❤
