Sport Clips Hurricane Relief

On September 14, Hurricane Florence made landfall with heavy winds and torrential rains. This slow moving storm devastated Eastern and Southern North Carolina displacing many of our  Sport Clips Team Members.
As of right now, 9/17/18, many of our Team Members who have evacuated are still not able to get back home to assess the damage.  Our Jacksonville Team and our 4 Wilmington Teams have been the hardest hit.

That's why we are asking  for your help and support. The funds raised here will go to support our Sport Clips North Carolina Team Members with whatever needs might arise. After assessing Team Member needs, any remaining funds will be donated to the Wayne McGlone Memorial Relief Fund.

On behalf of the North Carolina Sport Clips Leadership Team, Thank you!

From our Area Developer, Matt Lewis:

"I sent out the message below to my fellow Area Developers and the many people from Sport Clips who have asked how they can help with Hurricane Relief.  The offers from the Sport Clips family has been tremendous.  Most of the stores affected are either TL Patrick Hardy and Tom & Angie Hathaway however I know the entire state got lots of rain and flooding was rampant.  If any of your team members need immediate help, please let me know.  If your teams want to do something for their fellow NC team members, this account may be the easiest way to contribute.  Until team members can get to their homes, we may not have specific needs but I think we should provide as we can. "

"As you know from Harvey last year, these storms create long term issues for our team members.  Many of our team members cannot get home to assess the damage but it looks like most stores were not damaged/flooded.  There is no power to many of the stores in Eastern NC so they will be closed for a while.  Already some of the evacuated team members from Wilmington have been given the opportunity to work with the stores located in Maryland, Georgia and other parts of NC.  We are thankful for that.  Because we do not know the immediate needs of those displaced team members and since many of them have travel expenses, etc. to get back home, we set up a GoFundMe account that you are welcome to share.  We were fortunate that the larger markets; Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte; were not hit as hard this time.  Remaining donations in this GoFundMe account will be donated to the Wayne McGlone Foundation.
