Spookscreen is a non profit Film Festival set in Cork City and in September, FRIDAY THE 13th to Sunday the 15th we will be bringing great horror and fantasy films from all over the world. It proved successful last year in Clonakilty so this year we've been excited to move it into the City and also our beautiful spooky Spike Island.
This year we are welcoming guests such as Caroline Munro, a former Bond girl and Hammer Horror icon.
Hollywood casting directors Ros and John Hubbard from Harry Potter and Bourne series fame, The Mummy franchise. Between them over 200 credits and counting.
Chris Roe, an influential manager and agent. Chris is one of the sought after managers in Hollywood and manages the amazing Malcome McDowell and many more.
Courtney Gaines. Courtney has over 100 credits as an actor, working on Back to the Future and with the likes of Tom Hanks and many more.
We also have another two special guests that we will be announcing shortly.
The festival will bring guests and events and also provides a showcase for horror short films from all over the world and with an Irish section to support our national output.
We aim to show Hollywood that we have here in our beautiful county, talent, location's and the best of everything needed to make films here.
