Hi everyone, thank you for reading up on my goal to attend a Time to Teach training!

I've really struggled this year with my identity and what the next step in my life should be. For me, teaching is a calling. I am so passionate about my career and my students, but financially, teaching has stopped me from exploring many other components of who I am. Because of this, I started to look into picking up a second job (again), or leaving the field all together.
I feel incredibly blessed that through my soul-searching, I ended up stumbling upon a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will allow me to stay in teaching, while learning how to train teachers to be more effective teachers.
I was recently interviewed and then invited to attend a Time To Teach training in Las Vegas on April 27th-30th, 2017. Candidates are carefully interviewed and evaluated before their acceptance. I am honored to have been selected to attend this world-class training. Personally, I am looking forward to this unique opportunity to learn Time To Teach, a research-based classroom management program that will help improve the teaching and learning for the students in our local schools.
Upon my return, I will be a certified trainer who can share these powerful strategies with the teachers, schools and students of our community. If you haven't heard of Time To Teach, trust me when I say the more I learn about this company and their program, the more excited I am. I need your help because my goal is to transform our local schools into world class learning facilities. Our children deserve nothing less. The strategies learned during this training will be used in teacher classrooms and the impact of your donation will directly affect students, teachers, and schools.
I am asking my friends and family for financial sponsorship to help me with tuition, and I hope I can count on your support.
I'll need to pay for my hotel and travel, and the Time To Teach tuition training cost is $675.00. The tuition cost includes 4 full days of training (32 hours), all books and materials, online training support, webinars, teleconferences and one-on-one support with a mentor teacher, all in a sustained effort to make me an excellent trainer.
I need your help, but want to let you know how much I appreciate that support as well! That's why if you donate $5 or more, I will mail you a thank you note, and a sticker that proudly proclaims: "Today, I helped a teacher. What have you done, Doug Ducey?"
