First thing to know about me: I'm not great at selling myself.
(So, don't expect a cunning text creating the infightable urge to fund me here; I'll just explain you what I do and why I wish I could get some help.)
To sum up:
When Brexit and Trump happened, I started to realise some really weirds things were going on.
Foreign trolls pretending to be who they're not.
Shameless, international disinfo campaigns on so many topics.
Blatant lies. Politicians acting crazy.
All leading to an upcoming disaster.
And an old plan from a crazy Russian man becoming reality.
That's when I started to search the Internet, to try to understand why all this was happening, and how the different players (from LA to Vladivostock) were connected.
What links Bannon, Farage and Assange to the Kremlin's hybrid war, whose propaganda was used by SCL/Cambridge Analytica/AIQ into the Trump/Brexit campaigns to target people with disinfo based on stolen data, with the help of SM trolls and shadowy funds, to stir up hate against "leftards", immigrants and decency, to push for Climate change denial funded by US tax-avoiding corporations, right wing foundations and billionaires, also funding the Atlas network of (+450) RW "free trade" think tanks (in +90 countries), supporting Russian orthodox fighting secularity, UK entities/politicians lobbying the UK government for a hard brexit, and EU countries far right partys "coincidentially" calling for the end of the sanctions against Russia, as Trump personally did, and the dismantlement of the EU?
Turns out many things can be found on the Internet if you take the time to search, to expose the lies and show the vested interests they serve.
Who funds who and why
Who's fighting for deregulation (=tackle human rights and environmental protection)
Who's fighting to turn our democracies into christianist states
Who's involved in Kremlin's hybrid war to achieve Putin's objective (as stated in Valdai) "Creative destruction"
Uncovering the many (economical and political) vested interests involved here takes time.
And the self-employed translator I am has got to work: I have a family to take care of.
Yet I wish I could have more time to do research -as I'm not quite even close to done with everything I think is worth researching.
See the chart up there? I would want to make more charts -a serie of clearer, smaller thematic charts (that I could send to MPs, media, grassroots movement).
But that is really time-consuming.
If I could get some funding, that would allow me to accept less work, and thus have more time for this.
That would also allow me to obtain documents that I currently can't afford (for instance Guido Fawkes/Message space's Paul Staines' Hong Kong company records).
For the record, I will keep researching whether I get funding or not.
As you probably noticed, I didn't set a specific amount. That is entirely up to you. Any help is welcome and will count.
Shall I get some funding, any new finding will be announced here when posted on Twitter.
