Sponsored 2 Day Hike for the Welcome Centre

Many people in Huddersfield and the surrounding areas rely on the Welcome Centre Foodbank to feed themselves and their families. Sadly, the cost of living crisis is set to push even more people into food poverty. To help, and under the banner of #FansForFoodbanks, I’m doing a sponsored hike from Manchester to Huddersfield via Marsden and Holmfirth over 5th-6th November. I’ll sleep in a pop up tent. If the fundraiser surpasses £500, I’ll do it all in fancy dress.

Day 1: Manchester Piccadilly > Marsden (camp overnight)

Day 2: Marsden > Holmfirth > Huddersfield (John Smith’s Stadium)

Total: ~35 miles
