Sponsor Youth and Community Programs

Hello, my name is Sergio and I am asking for your sponsorship to build community programs through the Lion Health Initiative (LHI). The initiative will be managed through my consulting company, WallofLions, LLC. I have personally experienced trauma and professionally seen how adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) can debilitate life plans. I created an LHI assessment tool through years of public and business administration to identify and mitigate trauma from ACEs. Mentors conduct wellness checks and ask a series of questions related to 15 life domains (vital documents, socialization, time management, financial wellness, transport and mobility, school and work, juvenile justice involvement, substance use, health and wellness, gender and sexuality, mental and behavioral health, self-harming, physical aggression, developmental disabilities and community trauma) to find needs and create programs or find resources which can resolve spotlighted issues. Trauma is difficult to overcome, but letting others know we are here to help can go a long way toward recovery.

I am seeking to gather $125,000 to help fund programs and provide resources to address situations the LHI assessment has identified. The funds received through your contributions will help create wellness programs, fund scholarships for in-need scholars and provide comfort items to youth. The LHI team will be hosting most of the events in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania areas. As we grow, LHI would love to recreate similar regionally relevant activities in other states around the country and abroad. Every dollar counts. In fact, a contribution of $30 can help purchase a toy or stuffed animal for a child in need. A contribution of $125 will cover event admissions costs and meals, so barriers to participation are torn down.
