Hello friends,

I am raising funds for students who are very near and dear to me. I currently teach for local high schools where 63.7% (at one school) and 78% (at another school) of students qualify for free and reduced lunches. I am reaching out to the community and friends network because we are in need of some nursing assistant supplies that would make our nursing lab run smoothly and would increase the odds of our students passing their Minnesota State Nursing Assistant Competency Exam that will take place on December 21st and between January 23rd- end of February 2025. Specifically, we are looking to furnish our lab with bedside tables and laundry baskets. The total for those supplies at target is currently $225.98. In the past, Tony and I have purchased supplies and paid for scrubs but I am now looking to the community and network of friends for help! Additionally, in the future I am hoping to provide scholarship funds that would pay for one or two in need students to have their nursing assistant exam paid for. The cost of the state exam is $310. Any additional funds would be used to purchase scrubs for students who are unable to afford them. Please consider donating to our classroom! Anything helps us!

*update! We met and exceeded our goal so much faster than anticipated and we are amazed! Thank you so much for your donations! I was able purchase supplies and pay for scrubs for five in need students so far! I am extending an offer of your generous donations to other high school nursing assistant students because we can thanks to our donors!
