The purpose of this GoFundMe is to raise funds to cover the cost of nurses' and midwives' annual registration fee.
Here’s an opportunity to show your respect and support for the nursing and midwifery community, in a tangible way. As the mother of a nurse, I see how hard they work, their total commitment and the selfless way they put every patients' needs before their own.
This is the time of year that all our dedicated nurses and midwives have to pay their €100 registration fee . This fee allows them to work in Ireland for one year. It is normally due on January 31st, however this year the deadline has been extended to February 28th; here's our chance to contribute to the cost of registration for as many as possible.
Any donation, big or small, is an excellent way to show your thanks to our wonderful frontline workers - the people we are relying on to carry us through this pandemic , and beyond.
Why not show the people who care for us, how much we care about them.
