<div>Summary
</div>
<div>•	Let’s secure primary education for another 30 children near Kihihi in Uganda by providing an additional classroom. You can do this by funding 1 or more ‘bricks’ at £1 each. How many bricks are you ready to fund?
</div>
<div>•	The total needed is £1900 to complete the classroom.

<div>Why New Hope Primary School?
</div>
<div>•	Most parents cannot afford to send their children to state schools as 60% of households have income less than £480 per year and the state school fees are £130 per year or more.
</div>
<div>•	Children walk up to 15km to their nearest school.
</div>
<div>•	Wellen grew up in South West Uganda and had a vision to start a local school where children could attend for free. He started the CMCO charity to do this and has 4 capable people leading this charity. He continues to work voluntarily 3-4 days a week to lead the school project and supports himself by adhoc employment on other days.
</div>
<div>•	CMCO is completely reliant on funding from outside Uganda to finance the school.

</div>
<div>Why are we involved?
</div>
<div>•	Chris in Uganda started watching Hope Community Church online during Covid and made friends. At the same time, his friend Wellen was about to start building the school. We started to help.
</div>
<div>•	In 2024, Roland West of Hope Community Church visited the school twice to evaluate progress and determine further support.
</div>
<div>•	100% of funding provided to CMCO funds the school and full receipts are provided to Hope Church.
</div>
<div>Why an Additional classroom?
</div>
<div>•	There are currently 6 classrooms (all built since 2021) housing 6 classes of 185 primary age children. But Primary and Reception education has 8 years, so another block of classrooms is being built.
</div>
<div>•	Right now, there is an urgent need to complete one of these new classrooms so that the current oldest year can stay on. It is part built but needs £1900 to complete the work including walls, roof, flooring, blackboards and some desks.

</div>
<div>Proposal
</div>
<div>•	We want to support this project and enable these young children to continue their education.
</div>
<div>•	Can you sponsor this by funding 1 or more bricks at £1 each?
</div>
<div>•	Note: while this is “fund a brick”, the total target sum will fully equip the classroom.
