The Fountain City Difference Project Presents:  SPLASH JAM 2022

Alrighty, Columbus, GA! I need your help!! It is no secret that the violent crime rate, although decreasing at about 6%, is still high! And the number of families who have lost loved ones at the hands of gun crimes is heartbreaking. With 234 homicides over the past 5 years and
83% of those being violent crimes, We have to be a part of the solution and not just talk about the problem.  So I give you SPLASH JAM.
June 2022 is the goal. Our kids are dying left and right at the hands of non-senseless violence. If we don't join together we won't have
anything left. Let's not let another mother lose her child, let's not let another child become the morning's headline or the chalk outline.
Let's come together and give our children the future they deserve and not one that someone else chooses for them! The cries of a mother 
Whose child has been gunned down in the street should be enough for us to want change. The pain that is felt by families who have lost
loved ones at the hands of violent abusers, should be enough for us to push the envelope for better. Imagine getting the call that it was
your child, grandchild, niece nephew, cousin, brother, sister, father, mother! LET's Do This Columbus! I know WE can! 


This will be an event for the city and surrounding cities that is aimed at our youth. We want to address the curiosity before it becomes an issue by giving our youth the proper education on gun
violence, domestic violence, self-defense, and gun safety in a fun, relatable way.

Splash Jam 2022, with your help, will be the biggest water gun fight the city has ever seen, and we want to make sure that our mission is
met! We want to give them something to talk about. We want them to be excited to attend this event every year, and we want them to want to be involved and bring a friend or two. Our reach is only as long as word of mouth takes it, and our impact is only as bold and those we impress. Our focuses will forever remain on the youth of this city because they are the ones who will lead it one day, and if we have any hope of extinguishing the flames of crime in this great city, we may as well start with the future leaders.
