Spirit Medical Expense Fund

Spirit was hit by a car this weekend and broke his leg, along with other road burn injuries. He is the emotional support dog for my friend Opey who can't afford the medical care needed for Spirit's recovery. 

I took them to a low income vet today who took xrays, prescribed antibiotics and pain meds, cleaned multiple wounds,  placed a splint,  and provided a follow- up care plan. 

Good news is they may be able to save the leg so are starting with a splint. 

It costs $550 for everything thus far, which includes the weekly follow  up visits Spirit needs to optimize saving the leg.

Spirit has done wonders for my friend as his emotional support dog and means everything to Opey.  Any amount you can contribute towards Spirit's medical bills helps!

Funds raised in excess will be donated to the Indianapolis West Michigan Street Vet Clinic.
