Baby Bowling Fights Against Rare Childhood Cancer

Haley James Bowling was born September 15th, 2020 at Northwest Medical Center to her proud parents, Dan & Briana Bowling. From the day she was born, she has blessed all that know her with her precious little smile. At three months old, Haley James was hospitalized and diagnosed with kidney reflux. One of her kidneys was not functioning properly & was causing infection in her body. She was treated with antibiotics, the flare up and infection came back & little Haley was put on a daily antibiotic regiment to date. On March 22nd, her parents took her back to the hospital due to her being unconsolable, & with her ongoing kidney reflux diagnosis, wanted to get her checked. After tests were run, what was initially believed to be a mass on her kidney was found. On the morning of March 23rd, an MRI scan was preformed & found a peripheral nerve tumor. Haley will have to have surgery to remove the tumor where it will then be biopsied. The surgery has to be performed by a specialist neurosurgeon because of the severity of her spinal cord involvement. There are no neurosurgeon specialist here in Tucson, so Haley will have to be transported via ambulance to Phoenix Children's Hospital on March 24th, to prepare for the surgery.  Her parents are desperately hoping that they can both be in attendance, however COVID restrictions may hinder that. Because the surgery is being performed in another city & is out of network for their insurance company, the costs surrounding the transportations, surgeries, & after care/treatments is likely going to be astronomical. Haley's father is a public servant & her mother is a full-time nursing student, full-time mom & hairdresser on the side. Their salaries will not be able to support their home, their family & the medical burden that this tragedy will bring. We are asking for financial help to get this family through this devastation. No amount is too small & all donations are appreciated.
