<div>On Monday 19th August, I woke up to find my two year old dog Dexter was paralysed from his stomach down &amp; unable to move his two back legs and in severe pain.

<div>I immediately took him to the vets to be told he has IVDD, which means intervertebral disc disease. A painful spinal disorder.
</div>

<div>Currently he is in a animal hospital on morphine &amp; a drip. The vet has advised he will need a MRI scan and spinal surgery immediately.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dexter was born with a level 4 heart murmur, meaning I was unable to insure him for any veterinary bills. The cost of the surgery is £6000.
</div>
