<div>❤️ Unsere Maggie kämpft um ihr Leben Am Donnerstag mussten wir unsere geliebte Hündin Maggie in die Notaufnahme bringen – Diagnose: Gebärmutterentzündung mit beginnender Sepsis. Die Tierärzte mussten sofort operieren, um ihr Leben zu retten. Sie hat die OP überstanden, doch die Infektion hat ihren Körper schwer mitgenommen. Seitdem liegt Maggie auf der Intensivstation der Tierklinik Hofheim, unter ständiger Betreuung. Sie frisst nicht selbst, wird künstlich ernährt und bekommt rund um die Uhr Infusionen und Medikamente. Ihre Werte schwanken, die Bauchspeicheldrüse ist gereizt, und sie schläft sehr viel – aber die Ärzte sagen: Sie kämpft.

<div>Maggie hatte eine Blutvergiftung – doch sie lebt. Die Sepsis hat Ödeme und Hämatome an ihren Beinen und im Gesicht verursacht. Die Klinik tut alles, um sie zu stabilisieren. Jeder Tag zählt. ⸻ Wer Maggie ist

<div> Maggie ist 8 Jahre alt und eine wahre Überlebenskämpferin. Als Welpe wurde sie in Serbien schwer verletzt und mit über 50 Zecken gefunden. Wir haben sie damals adoptiert, gepflegt und ihr ein Zuhause voller Liebe gegeben. Seitdem hat sie uns unendlich viel Freude, Nähe und Mut geschenkt – sie ist unser Herzstück.

<div> ⸻ Warum wir um Hilfe bitten Da sie nicht versichert ist haben wir bereits unser gesamtes Erspartes für die bisherigen Behandlungen aufgebraucht – 3500€ sind bezahlt. Doch die laufenden Kosten für Intensivpflege, künstliche Ernährung und Medikamente betragen mehrere Hundert Euro pro Tag. Der Stand am 13.10.2025 war 7600€. Die Endrechnung/Zwischenrechnung würde ich natürlich auch in die Updates einfügen. Wir möchten Maggie jede Chance geben, gesund zu werden. Jede Spende – egal wie klein – hilft uns, die Behandlung fortzusetzen und ihr Leben zu retten. Bitte helft uns, Maggie diese zweite Chance zu geben. <div>On Thursday, we had to rush our beloved dog Maggie to the emergency clinic — diagnosis: pyometra with developing sepsis.
</div>
<div>The veterinarians had to operate immediately to save her life.
</div>

</div>
<div>She survived the surgery, but the infection has taken a heavy toll on her body.
</div>
<div>Since then, Maggie has been in the intensive care unit at the Tierklinik Hofheim, receiving constant medical attention.
</div>
<div>She cannot eat on her own, is being artificially fed, and gets continuous IV fluids and medication.
</div>

<div>Her blood values are unstable, her pancreas is irritated, and she sleeps most of the time —

<div>but the doctors say one thing that keeps us going: she’s fighting.

<div>Maggie had blood poisoning, but she’s still here.

<div>The sepsis caused severe swelling and hematomas on her legs and face.
</div>
<div>The clinic is doing everything they can to stabilize her.

<div>Maggie is 8 years old and a true survivor.
</div>
<div>As a puppy, she was found injured and covered with over 50 ticks in Serbia.
</div>
<div>We adopted her, cared for her, and gave her a loving home.
</div>
<div>Since then, she has filled our lives with joy, courage, and unconditional love — she is the heart of our family.

<div>Because she isn’t insured, we’ve already spent all our savings — €3,500 have been paid so far.

<div>But the ongoing costs for intensive care, artificial feeding, and medications amount to several hundred euros per day.

<div>As of October 13th, 2025, the bill had already reached €7,600 — and it keeps growing.
