Spencer’s Emergency Surgeries

Anyone who knows me well knows Spencer, he’s my 13 year old tuxedo cat that’s been by my side since I was 11. Last night he was rushed to the emergency animal hospital in a lot of pain which turned out to be full urethra blockage (which would become fatal if left for just a few days). My options were $2000 for surgery (just on the urethra) ASAP or have my otherwise healthy boy put to sleep. I used all my savings and he got the surgery and is currently resting and healing. I received the call that his bladder is full of large stones and he will not get better from this until those are also surgically removed. They recommended I find a local, non-emergency vet to do the procedure since the ER cost will be even more than the first surgery. Other than these issues, he is perfectly healthy and has many years left in him and I cannot risk losing him so soon. He is my best friend and any help is appreciated at this time.
