Spelling Bee the Musical!

Hello Generous Donors! Thank you so much for checking out our GoFundMe page! We are currently in the process of raising money to produce the musical "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" at the University of Michigan next fall, co-directed and produced by Noah Eisenberg (BFA Musical Theater '21) and Sierra Miliziano (Bachelor of Theatre Arts '21). The money raised here would cover purchasing the rights, building the sets, finding costumes, props, as well as other expenses such as photography and publicity. NONE of this money would be taken for profit, and if you are overly benevolent in your giving, the excess funds would be used only to enhance the show or go towards producing our next show! We want to make admission completely free, so this fundraising attempt would allow us to do that and have a fun, entertaining night of theatre for all. 

"The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" follows six children in their attempts to win The Bee. We see them struggle with parental relationships, need for love and care, dealing with competition and loss, and finding connection in unlikely places. This hysterical coming-of-age musical, written by William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin, is sure to touch your funny bones and your hearts.
