Help the Flower Stand, stand! ( urgent repairs)

Hello friends, fiends and fancy flower fans…
It is now the time for me to ask you for some help.
The stand that holds down the corner of the universe at Broadway and Morrison is in need of urgent replacements and repairs.
This last year has been very hard on the stand, repeated break-ins and vandalism have damaged the structure and our early onset fall and rains have shown how compromised (and leaky) it really is.
I had planned on doing the work myself and was actually quite excited about it-but with so many repairs now needed, my skill set and the construction needs are no longer simpatico.
Heavy rains are expected this fall and winter so the work can no longer be put off. This is very ill timed as August and September are my sleepiest months and there are not enough resources to conduct business AND take on a rebuild.
I am asking for your help in rebuilding Spellbound with vital repairs and upgrades so it can ride out the winter months safely,*much* more secure and continue to bring beauty to Broadway and Morrison.
Your donation supports:
-A new framed lid/roof with support doors so I no longer have to use a tent. As much as I love the striped tent it has proved, even with weights to be a safety hazard during high wind days.
-New shutters with bars on the inside.
-New framed door with bolt locks.
-Replacement of flat roof with a sealed raked roof and drainage system.
-New watertight paint.
-Installation of new locking caster wheels.
-Replacement inverter for lights/ card reader.
-Wages for contractor.
-Offsetting a week’s closure to do the work
As I often say this business would not be possible without our enthusiasts and supporters and this is so very true right now.
All donations are considered an open credit for future flowers, because I don’t want something for nothing.
