Spectrum on the Streets - Storefront Murals

Donation protected
With San Francisco’s streets blighted by boarded up storefronts and local artists unable to show or sell work due to quarantine, Access Institute is organizing an effort to fund local artists to paint murals. For each $1,000 raised, a local artist will be commissioned to paint the plywood of a local small business.

Spectrum on the Streets is Access Institute's project designed to harness community support for local artists who can help raise awareness around mental health and beautify the city in dark times. Together we can paint a vision for a brighter future, elevate moods in neighborhoods around San Francisco, while supporting local artists and the small businesses forced to close their doors due to COVID-19. Join us to make our city shine with one-of-a-kind art pieces while supporting the community's cry for more conversations about mental health and broader access to mental health services.

Donations will be used to pay for the paint, supplies, and artist stipend. Whatever you can give is appreciated. Please share this campaign and help us spread the word!
