There are increasingly more children diagnosed with specified learning disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder every day. My vision is for churches to reach out to these children and their families with open arms, love, and support. Now, picture me in Arizona getting to do just that!
For the next year, I will be interning at Christ's Church of the Valley (CCV) in Peoria, AZ where I will be trained in church leadership while working in CCV's children's ministry, specifically with children with special needs.
This incredible journey starts in less than two months! Yes, it's an unpaid internship, but I believe in the power of prayer and support. Even more, I believe that God has placed a passion in my heart to love children with disabilities in the same way that He does, which is why I am so excited about this internship!
If you would consider supporting me financially, the money that you donate will help me over the next year pay for food, gas, travel, and textbooks (as I will be pursuing a Master of Arts in Ministry at the same time to further prepare me as a leader in church ministry).
