Special olympics stafford

Hi my names liam Nolan and along with, Gracie-Esmae and Olivia (who are just 10 years old) Dan Mitchell, Marley Thomas, Adam Lynch ,Stephen Goldstraw, Johnathon Dodson,neil Turner, Ross Tonks and Ben Davies, hazen Udall, mitch shepherd,edward Love and Callum poxton

we are going to climb mount snowdon on th 9th October to raise money for Special olympics Stafford.

we are going to climb in some sort of fancy dress and if our target is reached some of us will have our legs waxed once we reach the top.

 

special olympics stafford is a charity set up for children and adults with intellectual dissabilities

, to come together and learn various different sporting activities, whilst meeting new friends and socialising.

From the moment i seen them training i was blown away at how much it meant to the atheletes but also how kind and caring the volunteering coaches are.

After speaking with their head coach Clive, i discovered that they are going to host a local athletics tournament in

November, where other towns special olympics teams will attend and compete against each other. The money we raise climbing Snowden will be used to help fund the event.

It really does mean alot to us to be able to help and im hoping with the generosity of everyone, we can give these children and adults the event they so deserve.

If anyone would like to watch these superstars train to see how much it means to them, they train saturdays 10am at Rowley park, although there venue will be moving indoors during winter.
