Special needs care orphanage Sri Lanka

Hey all, I'm currently volunteering in Kandy,Sri Lanka doing special needs care and disable care through an in country  organization called the Green Lion and will be here for the next few weeks. From the moment I stepped foot in the doors it was obvious to me that the conditions were very poor and they were severely lacking in resourse and care takers, there are currently 115 disabled children and adults living in the facility with only 9 care takers to look after all of them. After spending some time there I knew I wanted to do more than I am to help but I need your help. If you are able to donate any amount will be appreciated and will go a very long way to improving the quality of life for these treasures. All funds raised will go directly to the needs of the people in the orphanage, such as medicine, wheelchairs, new clothing and bedding, head lice treatment, toys and entertainment, basic education needs, food and special days and events. If you are able to donate please share this and encourage others to share this so that it can reach as many people as possible. Unfortunately the situation is very bad in Sri Lanka for the disabled, most being abandoned or worse killed at birth if the  disability is severe enough, I am unable to share any photos or videos from the orphanage for their safety and privacy but i will post a video talking in depth about their situation.
