Special Education Graduate Course

Donation protected
Hello. My name is Rachel Tuttle and I have had the honor of being a Special Education teacher for 6 years. I have been wanting to complete my courses for my Masters Degree in Special Education, but as we all know, life happens and our plans get pushed back. My husband was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's Disease in the fall of 2013. We have two beautiful boys, one is 9, and the other is 4 years old. I am in the process of completing one of my last few courses at IUPUI, and was denied financial aid due to the fact the graduate course is 3 credits. (Appartently, to be considered for aid, you have to be full time, which is 4 credits)
I am not trying to have a pity party, and do not enjoy asking for help, but in order to receive my credits, the course must be paid in full. My husband will be going in for Deep Brain Stimulation surgery (DBS) to relieve his symptoms of Parkinson's the first week of December. He is currently on disability due to his symptoms, and we are doing our best to make ends meet in every area of our lives. I plan to be a Special Education teacher for the rural elementary where I am today, as long as I am able. I attended the same school as a child, and it was my dream to go back and teach at the same school. Thank God His plans were aligned with my own. Again, I don't typically ask for help, but to receive my credits for this course without more burden to my fam ily, would be greatly appreciated! God bless!! Thank you for taking time to read about my story.
