Special Care Centre

Last December I was thankful enough to visit India after a long 7 years. As everything around me seemed to change, a couple of things didn't and poverty/education was a big one. I had visited a school in small city near by, Special Care Centre - a school that's targeted just to children with different learning/mental disorders. Each individual child comes from a family who's parents either A. Can't afford the medication that's needed for their child. B. Doesn't have the time, knowledge or patience to help their children.

Families in India don't drop off their children at Special Care Centre for selfish reasons, but more for the benefit of their own child. They believe that their children will better benefit without them, they'll get the care they need. The care and dedication teachers at the Special Care Centre have is unbelievable.

I'm putting this fundraiser together to help these children get what they need - which could be more medication, school supplies or even food. A dollar can go long way for these children and any donation could help!
