Have you told your wife that you love her today?
Four years ago our life was great, my wife and I both had great jobs, three vehicles plus we had a nice Harley Davidson. We both volunteered in the community in recovery ministries. Suddenly, our life drastically changed the day I went into the hospital to get a biopsy. Unknown to me, I would be speaking my last words and eating my last meal. The tumor had wrapped around my vocal cords, and my entire throat had been engulfed with cancer. At that moment my life was at stake, and all of it had to be removed. My first battle consisted of 42 radiation treatments with 8 rounds of chemo.
Today, we have discovered I will be fighting my 4nd round with re-occurring Larynx Cancer. In order to have a scan done to determine where I stand in thus far, requires a $1,000 copayment. My fixed income just does not cover the bills anymore. Which includes both of us not working, utility bills, co-payments on medicine. We are hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt with hospital and insurances, which has also caused us to put our extra vehicles up for sale. I used to do small jobs but simply cannot anymore. But I am still alive and God has supplied for us. He also made a place like gofundme.com so that people can humbly try to get back on their feet with everyone’s help. Your donations will be used to try to restore our lives back to some kind of normalcy. We are asking for $4000.00 but all and any funds will be greatly appreciated.
My wife has been doing her best to keep us going since her office that she worked at shut down due to lack of State Funding. Laura has been getting little part time seasonal jobs and even cleaning houses. She is my full time caregiver too. She is very stressed and I hope this will help give her some kind of peace and comfort.
