SpayAid PEI is 'snipping' towards 3000 spay/neuters on PEI.
SpayAid PEI is Prince Edward Island's only low cost spay/neuter program. SpayAid PEI is an all-volunteer registered charity who for the last ten years has been able to provide vaccination and spay/neuter assistance to Island pet owners who cannot afford to have their pets fixed. We partner with ten veterinary clinics on PEI to provide this three-way cost sharing program.
"Over the last ten years we have assisted with the vaccination and spay/neuter of 2,924 dogs, cats, and rabbits on PEI. This has made significant difference to the numbers of unwanted pets surrended to the Humane Society or just being abandoned." says Michael Walsh, President. "If each of these pets were responsible for only one litter, this means there are around 15,000 less unwanted animals of the Island."
To help us reach this goal of 3,000, SpayAid PEI has launched a GoFundMe page to help in raising the very necessary funds. Your donation will cover our costs of these necessary spay/neuter surgeries as well as provide the necessary vaccinations. All donations over $10.00 will receive a charitable donation tax receipt.
