Spartan Scarlets 2017-2018

The Spartan Scarlets dance team is recognized as the official dance team at the University of Tampa. While they are recognized by the athletic department, they receive minimal support to help fund the club based organization. Each Spring, the team travels to a Daytona Beach, FL for NDA nationals. In addition to the team's competition, they are most passionate about dance and spreading the word about dance in the UT community. As an active Student Organization they are dedicated to promoting UT school spirit by performing at sports games such as men and women's basketball, soccer and lacrosse. The Spartan Scarlets also make appearances at the Midnight Madness pep rally, school organization events and local community events each year. With most of its members being from out of state, they've found a Go Fund Me page has been the most successful way for their biggest fans to show their support.
