Spare what you can to help support my blog
28th December 2018 I changed my life by getting sober, in doing so I had to face my childhood trauma, ended up losing 96 lbs and reignited my love of running. I then enrolled as a full time mature student at the University of Sussex, Foundation Year in Social Science, followed by BA in Criminology. Then at the age of 40 I was diagnosed with ADHD Combined (both inattentive and hyperactive.)
I started the blog Revolt to Evolve on the suggestion of some friends who thought my journey to sobriety and weight loss would inspire others.
I then decided to start a second blog The Disorganised Daydreamer in response to the experiences I've had navigating University and now ADHD as a mature student and the sheer lack of experiential information about being a mature student.
Both blogs are Catharism for me, but at the same time I hope that they will help anyone who is either considering getting sober, losing weight or enrolling in University as a mature student (with or without neurodivergence.)
I'm perfectly happy spending my free time working on these blogs, however, the running costs aren't cheap - if anyone can spare the odd £ here and there to help me pay for the costs of the websites I would be eternally grateful.
Thank you all.
