Dear Friends and Family,
It is both my great privilege and honor to share with you the following exciting news - I have been reselected to join the amazing team returning to Guatemala with the HELPS International organization for 2018. Our team will consist of doctors, dentists, nurses as well as other volunteers to provide support with translation services. We will be providing health care to adults, adolescents and infants who due to their financial circumstances and rural location would otherwise be unable to receive health care. My own life has been endlessly blessed by the generosity of others; this holiday season I am kindly asking you to help me return those blessings. To make this trip a reality I will need to raise funds necessary to cover my flight, lodging, and meals for the week. The cost of the trip is expected to be approximately $2,100 per volunteer and is due by January 8, 2018 in order to attend.
I am thrilled by this new opportunity and its accompanying experiences. I believe this will be a life changing experience not only for myself but more so for the people I aspire to help. Upon my return, I look forward to sharing with you how WE have helped make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
