Tiffany is a local Delaware County resident, who has donated much of her life to helping others. She was a volunteer, along with her parents, in a local youth organization since she was around 6 years old. At the time of diagnosis she was an active 22 year old college student studying Event Management at Temple, with the goal of planning Non Profit Events. She was a member of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, where she continued to display her desire to help others by being involved with the planning of their Philanthropy Events, including their annual Deepher Dude Pageant for Cystic Fibrosis. She also worked various jobs while in school and until her diagnosis was working as a hostess at a Philadelphia area restaurant.
On April 9, 2018, she was admitted to the hospital with a tumor in her chest which was later diagnosed as Diffused B Cell Lymphoma. It is a very aggressive cancer that needed to be treated right away. After 5 years of being on her own, she is now no longer able to live alone or work and needs someone to chaperone her everywhere she goes. Her mother, Lois, has become her primary care giver and with the chemo treatment and stress of everyday activities, Mom has a lot on her hands. Lois fortunately is able to take FMLA time so she can take care of Tiffany but with using FMLA she does not get paid. This loss of income has become a hardship on the family.
Tiffany has completed 6 Rounds of Chemo treatments and soon will be starting Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy to help get her strength back in hopes of returning to school and working in the near future. Until then money is a major problem for the family.
Any funds that are donated will support the family and be used to pay for hospital bills and other bills such as mortgage and electric. Your support is much needed and GREATLY APPRECIATED, we promise all monies raised will go to help our daughter recover from this disease.
